Van Menu

With Andrew being diabetic and Jade being vegetarian, food is a major focus of our life. When we are traveling with JoVanna, that doesn’t change much. Here are some regulars on our van menu.

Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day. Every day starts with a few cups of coffee and lots of food. Sometimes breakfast is a quick start of bagels or granola with yogurt. Other times, we have a slower start to the morning with pancakes or oatmeal.

Van Menu – Lunch

Lunch time is not a defined meal for us most days. Typically, we snack throughout the day between kite sessions or on the bike. Our favorite snacks are quick and can be easily eaten while hiking, cycling, or relaxing on the beach. Protein packs and granola bars are our snack of choice.

  • Cheese Sticks
  • Nuts/Trail Mix
  • Fruit (Oranges, Bananas, Apples, Berries)
  • Lunch Meat
  • Peanut Butter
  • Tortillas
  • Jerky

Van Menu – Dinner

Dinner is ALWAYS a hot meal. Usually, we cook something tasty on our Coleman stove. However, if we have a campfire, we like to get creative with our campfire pies. Even if we are only able to boil water on our MSR PocketRocket, a hotmeal is essential after a long day of adventures.
